ARCTICNOISE is a media installation by Geronimo Inutiq (alter ego madeskimo). Bringing together various media, Inutiq’s installation has been described as “an Indigenous response to Glenn Gould’s celebrated composition “The Idea of the North.” Presented in collaboration with ISEA, project members Yasmin Numing-Por and Britt Gallpen as well as grunt gallery curatorial resident Tarah Hogue, ARTICNOISE promises to be an engaging, immersive exhibition considering the intersections of new media, Indigenous and non-Indigenous histories.
