VANCOUVER — Waka Flocka Flame arrived on stage in front of a very hyped-up and anxious crowd of partiers on Friday the 13th. The crowd was a mix of the city’s wildest party girls and veteran stoners.
Opening acts could not have prepared fans for what was to come. After being introduced with “Waka Flocka for President” cheers, the man of the hour quickly got going, and starting showering the crowd with champagne.
Few by few, the girls started going up on stage and shaking their asses like a twerk team. No one could take their eyes off the stage or the girls dancing on it; one of the ladies even pulled up her skirt and shook her ass for the audience.
EDM hit “Wild Boy” came on, the chants and sing-a-longs began, and a group of crowd members were brought up on stage. Within a few minutes, the whole pit was jumping up and down on stage while Waka sought refuge behind the DJ booth after security starting throwing invaders off the stage. Although a few got pushed to the ground, the bouncers managed not to seriously injure anyone.
All in all, the night was a tribute to asses, drunkenness, rolling and feel-good vibes.BC, British Columbia, Harbour Event Centre, Waka Flocka Flame
