VANCOUVER — With June turning into a gateway month for summer music festival season, club nights begin to feel like a general warm up for what’s to come. Thankfully, the local bookings never seem to waver and continue to push the scene further in the right direction.
June 10 at Fortune Sound Club
Building her career from the ground up, Newark, New Jersey’s UNIIQU3 maintains her throne as the queen of Jersey club by regularly working with Jersey born producers DJ Sliink, Nadus, and Brenmar. With opening duties coming from local female rapper Horsepowar, this evening is building up to be real bouncy.
June 14 at The Biltmore Cabaret
The equally mysterious and mesmerizing vibes emanating from Brussels, Belgium based producer The Magician are a staple in the dance music community. Striking gold with his remix of Lykke Li’s “I Follow Rivers” in 2011, the producer has since gained a massive following including his popular Magic Tapes mixtape series on SoundCloud.

Celebrating the release of his latest album ALT CLASSIC on OWSLA, Kill The Noise, a.k.a. Jake Stanczak, will be embarking on a North American tour, traversing coasts and slanging his bass driven EDM sound to the end of July.
