VANCOUVER — With June turning into a gateway month for summer music festival season, club nights begin to feel like a general warm up for what’s to come. Thankfully, the local bookings never seem to waver and continue to push the scene further in the right direction.

Building her career from the ground up, Newark, New Jersey’s UNIIQU3 maintains her throne as the queen of Jersey club by regularly working with Jersey born producers DJ Sliink, Nadus, and Brenmar. With opening duties coming from local female rapper Horsepowar, this evening is building up to be real bouncy.

The equally mysterious and mesmerizing vibes emanating from Brussels, Belgium based producer The Magician are a staple in the dance music community. Striking gold with his remix of Lykke Li’s “I Follow Rivers” in 2011, the producer has since gained a massive following including his popular Magic Tapes mixtape series on SoundCloud.

From Detroit, Michigan, the completely independent JMSN puts a modern spin on the classic R&B formula. Known to write, produce, and sing on all of his own tracks, the artist born Christian Berishaj has just released a new album titled It is, which features more of a jazz and soul inspired sound this time around.
