EDMONTON – Returning for their fifth year this Friday, October 6 to Sunday, October 8, 2017, Up and Downtown Music Festival today announces an initial lineup of 34 performers.
Headliners include Wintersleep, DIIV, Dan Deacon, Reverend Horton Heat, U.S. Girls, Leif Vollebekk, Sister Nancy with Selector Mossman, Holy Fuck, plus special engagements such as Alan Cross presenting his The Ongoing History of New Music podcast for a live audience, and Change of Heart commemorating the 25th anniversary of their album Smile.
A number of Albertan bands have also been announced with more expected to follow. All told, the festival will host over 100 acts in twelve downtown Edmonton venues. Stay tuned for additional lineup announcements.
