VIDEO PREMIERE: Fond Of Tigers Propel Their Inner Prowl With Everything Moves Video

Monday 25th, June 2018 / 11:05
by Carlos Oen

Fond of Tigers, the JUNO award-winning avant-rock band from Vancouver, teamed up with local music video company cmyk for the production of “Everything Moves.” This is their first collaboration and the result is a brilliant, classy, simply-sophisticated video. A genuine art piece floating in cyberspace for everyone´s enjoyment.

Like a lot of their songs, “Everything Moves” is mostly instrumental. It comes from Uninhabit, which is Fond of Tigers´ fourth album. The atmospheric feeling, next to moderate lyrics offers listeners a lot of interpretation.

“We get to see these beings who are just like us existing in their own little worlds unaware of how small they truly are,” said cmyk Director, Josh Richardson.

For Stephen Lyons, guitarist, vocalist and percussionist of Fond of Tigers, their music acts like a prism by allowing each listener to find its own interpretation.

Fond of Tigers is formed by Stephen Lyons, Morgan McDonald (keyboards), JP Carter (Trumpet and electronics), Dan Gaucher (drums), Skye Brooks (drums), Shanto Acharia (bass) and Jesse Zubot (violin and electronics).

Fond Of Tigers perform at the Imperial (Vancouver) on June 29.
