Country music star Paul Brandt and the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra team up this year at MRU’s Bella Concert Hall on Dec. 10 and at the Jack Singer on Dec. 10 and 11, performing seasonal classics alongside the singer’s selection of hits.
For this special three-night event, $10 from every ticket will go towards Brandt’s Buckspring Foundation, raising awareness and taking collective action to prevent and end sexual exploitation and trafficking of youths.
“This is a special time of year for the Orchestra,” says Paul Dornian, President and CEO of the CPO. “Music is at the centre of all our celebrations as we gather with friends and family at festive events and rejoice in traditions that bring joy and warmth as the days grow shorter and colder.”
This is a unique opportunity to hear the beloved Canadian country artist perform a mix of holiday favourites and his own original hits with a full Orchestra.
Brandt joins the CPO on December 10 at the Bella Concert Hall, and December 11 and 12 at the Jack Singer Concert Hall, at 7:30 p.m. These concerts are selling fast, but people can share this experience with audiences across the province, the country, and the globe by tuning in to the live-stream on December 12 at 7:30 p.m.
