Here’s Everything You Need to Know About Coachella 2020

If you’re suffering from the post-holiday blues and can’t possibly fathom how you’re going to survive the next few months of winter, then what better time to start planning your trip to the Palm Desert this spring for that music festival? The Coachella 2020 lineup just dropped, and with headliners Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott and Frank Ocean, it’s shaping up to be quite the weekend(s).

As usual, the lineup represents a smattering of everything current and cool including Calvin Harris, Big Sean, Charli XCX, Flume, 21 Savage, Lana Del Rey, (Sandy) Alex G and Lil Nas X , among others, in addition to the aforementioned headliners.

A couple of other trends in the lineup include more Spanish-language acts—a continuation of a trend from last year when J Balvin, Bad Bunny and Rosalia all performed. Brazilian popstar Anitta and traditional banda outfit Banda MS are among the performers this year, showing that Coachella is broadening its brush when it comes to Latin music.

K-pop artists will also once again be taking the stage at Coachella, as Epik High will be returning after their ground-breaking 2016 appearance (they were the first K-pop artists to ever perform at Coachella), as well as influential boy group BIGBANG, whose members T.O.P, G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung just recently completed military services.

Coachella takes place in Indio, California, every year, with the 2020 festival due to go down April 10-12 and 17-19. Weekend one is already sold out, so make sure you register for weekend two presale now. The presale starts Monday January 6, 2020 at 12pm PT. Until then, check out the full lineup below.
