The Roots drummer and bandleader Questlove took to social media early today to reveal the lineup for this years Roots Picnic festival, which is set to return to The Mann Center in the Roots’ hometown of Philadelphia the final weekend in May.

The event is known for its expert curation, courtesy of The Roots and their manager and festival co-founder Shawn Gee, and always presents the best in hip-hop, R&B, soul and more across its two days. This year the headliners include DaBaby, Summer Walker and fellow Philly hometown hero Meek Mill. Other artists making appearances include SiR, Burna Boy, Snoh Aalegra, Baby Rose, Thundercat, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah, Griselda and Phony Ppl. Musiq Soulchild, SWV and Brandy will also appear as part of a special performance, and there will be a podcast stage featuring Questlove’s own Supreme Podcast, CRWN with Elliott Wilson and more.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, February 14 at noon, and all tickets are general admission (no assigned seats). Concert organizers are also giving concertgoers an incentive to help get the word out about the festival: if you share the 2020 lineup poster on social media, email a screenshot of your post to [email protected] to receive an early access code.

Early bird pricing for the Roots Picnic 2020 is set at $69.50 per ticket and will increase at a later date. Visit them on the web for more or check out the full lineup below.
