National Music Centre Celebrates Life and Career of Jann Arden in New Exhibition

Since launching her career in the early 90s, Jann Arden has made a name for herself with her now-signature brand of torch songs and heartbreak ballads. The Canadian singer’s career achievements include 14 albums, 19 top ten singles, as well as many awards and accolades throughout her nearly 30 year career.

This year Arden has yet again realized another notable achievement after having been recognized as one of the 2020 Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductees. The National Music Centre’s latest temporary exhibition, Canadian Music Hall of Fame: Jann Arden, serves to honour the Canadian singer-songwriter and her incredible career full of stories.

Guests can expect to gain insights into Arden’s exciting career, from writing songs in her parents’ basement to appearing on movie soundtracks and starring in her own prime-time TV show. Notable artifacts on display include early photos, a high school report card, and her first recorded single from 1980. Visitors may access the exhibit with paid admission to Studio Bell anytime from March 13, 2020 until October 2020.

Catch Arden this spring as she embarks on a 19-date Canadian tour that kicks off in St. John’s, Newfoundland on May 7. Tickets and live dates can be found at
