Doja Cat isn’t letting up. After releasing her underrated debut, Amala, Amala Zandile Dlamini deservedly gained viral attention from her jokey song and music video “Mooo!” that she created with her friends “just for fun.”

Now, following more success from other fantastic singles like “Tia Tamera” and “Juicy,” Dlamini is coming out the gate swinging with Hot Pink, a sexy, dominant, and self-assured collection of rap and R&B tracks that will break her away from the cow memes.

Hot Pink is basically a melting pot of everything Doja Cat represents, including sex, the internet and throwback vibes, while offering zero apologies for it.

The album’s lead single, “Bottom Bitch” is an ode to her best friend, and samples Blink-182’s “What’s My Age Again?” creating a mashup of things you didn’t expect to work so well together but absolutely do.

“Play with my pussy, don’t play with my emotions,” Dlamini demands from her admirers on “Rules,” a standout track. Her rapping gets faster and more hypnotic, pulling the listener in and believing every word. And why wouldn’t you? Doja Cat’s world seems way more fun than regular life, a much welcomed break from normalcy.

Best Track: Rules
